Candid Buyer's Guide

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 26, 2026

The short version

Candid Buyer's Guide earns money through affiliate links. If you click a link on our site and buy a product, we may earn a commission from the seller or the platform that sells it. You pay the same price whether you use our link or not. Commissions never decide our verdicts.

How it works

Many of the products we review are digital products (online courses, guides and programs) sold through affiliate platforms such as ClickBank and Digistore24, or directly by the seller. These sellers pay a commission to websites that send them buyers.

When you click one of our affiliate links:

  1. You leave our site and go to the seller's page or checkout.
  2. The seller's platform records that you came from us, usually with a cookie.
  3. If you buy, the seller or platform pays us a commission, typically a percentage of the price. It may also include later purchases from the same seller, such as upsells.

The price you pay is set by the seller. We don't add anything to it, and we don't see your payment details.

How we label affiliate links

Why it matters, and how we handle the conflict

Earning a commission gives us an incentive to recommend products. We take that seriously:

Read our full method on the How We Review page.

We are not the seller

We are an independent review site. We are not the creator, owner or official site of any product we review, and we can't process orders or refunds. For order help, contact the seller or the platform named on your receipt.

Advertising

We also pay for ads, for example on Google Search, to bring readers to our reviews. Our ads lead to our own pages, which explain the product and our affiliate relationship before you reach the seller.
